The Oxford Lieder Scholarship
Oxford Lieder offers an annual scholarship of up to £1,000 for postgraduate studies in voice or accompaniment at any recognised music college.
Applications are invited from anyone who has lived, studied or worked in Oxfordshire. Auditions for the 2009-10 scholarship will be held in Spring 2009, adjudicated by a panel of distinguished musicians. The £1,000 may be awarded to one applicant, or in exceptional circumstances divided at the discretion of the panel. Oxford Lieder will take a keen interest in the progress of the successful applicant.
Past winners of the Oxford Lieder Scholarship include Robyn Parton (2009), Rebecca Lea (2008) and George Humphries (2007).
An information sheet and application form can be downloaded here and should be returned to Laura Ashby at laura@oxfordlieder.co.uk
The Oxford Lieder Scholarship is generously supported by Trufflehunter. Anyone interested in adding further support for the scholarship should contact development@oxfordlieder.co.uk.
