Bernadette Bartos studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna (Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst, Wien) studying with Imola Joó, Heinz Medjimorec and Stephan Möller and graduated in June 2010 with the Master’s degree, concert exam.

Since october 2007 she has been enrolled on the Masters programme for piano accompaniment with Carolyn Hague and Birgid Steinberger at the Conservatorium in Vienna (Konservatorium Wien, Privatuniversität). Since September 2010 she has been studying piano accompaniment at the Royal College of Music, London with Roger Vignoles and Simon Lepper.

In Vienna Bernadette has played concerts in various halls: Yamaha Saal, Steinway Haus, Bösendorfer-Saal, Herbert von Karajan Centrum, Stadtinitiative, Gesellschaft für Musiktheater, Instituto Cervantes. In 1999 she had her concert debuet at the Großer Saal, Wiener Musikverein, with Beethoven’s piano concert Nr.3, in c-minor. In 2001 she played in the Radio Kulturhaus, Großer Sendesaal‚ „10 Jahre Zeit-Ton“ (for the 10th anniversary of the contemporary music festival). In 2003 Bernadette has been awarded the „Musica Juventutis“ prize followed by recitals in the Schubert and Mozart Saal at the Vienna Konzerthaus.

In Austria she performed at the „Liszt Fenster" in Eisenstadt and done recitals and matinee perfomances for Kulturkreis Niederfellabrunn. From 2007 till 2009 she had concerts during the Salzkammergut Festwochen Gmunden, Carinthischer Sommer in Ossiach, and in the Baroque Theater Lambach. Between 1999 and 2003 Bernadette had chamber music recitals in France include the international musicfestival in Brive. In Marcq en Baroeul she had solo recitals during an Austrian culturfestival. In 2006 she performed concerts in Maldonado/Uruguay, Casa de la Cultura and as part of the Austrian culturpanel she perfomed 2010 in Ljubljana/Slovenian and 2011 in Bratislava/Slovakia as an accompanist and soloist. Since February she was accepted into Graham Johnson's "Young Songmaker's Almanac" with Benjamin Appl.

Bernadette has studied in Masterclsases with Klaus Hellwig, Christopher Elton, Noel Flores, Risto Kyrö, Joaquin Soriano, Helmut Deutsch, Roger Vignoles, Peter Schreier, Angelika Kirchschlager, Bernarda Fink and Michael Schade.
