Peter Davoren

Tenor

Peter is currently a postgraduate student at the Royal Academy of Music, studying under Neil Mackie and Mary Hill. He studied for his BA in Music at Leeds University and was awarded the Elgar Prize for his performance as Orbin in the composer’s work Caractacus. His operatic roles include Don Basilio in The Marriage of Figaro, Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, Don José in Carmen and Filipeto in Das Vier Grobiane. Peter has sung many solo roles in oratorios including Messiah, B minor Mass, Elijah and many more. Peter represented the Royal Academy of Music at the Kyoto International Music Student Festival (Japan) earlier this summer.
