Pre-concert Talks

Every evening concert (except the master course concert on Thursday 25th) this year is preceded by a talk. These talks, given by a variety of entertaining and engaging speakers, are intended to help prepare listeners for the music they are about to hear, opening up particular elements of the repertoire either through nuggets of historical background, examinations of the texts, or more personal performance issues. Talks begin at 7pm in the Holywell Music Room, and are free of charge to ticket holders.
