This year’s Schools’ Project takes place in three schools in Woodstock. Our experienced workshop leaders bring song to life, engaging students in music and poetry, composition and writing. This showcase of their work is unfailingly impressive. The final concert is open to all, free of charge; do come and hear for yourself the remarkable achievements of these young people.

"Our pupils benefited so much from having the guidance of such committed and talented adults, who drew out the best of our pupils. I, for one, will never forget the attentive faces and deep concentration of our pupils and this was down to inspired teaching."

Keith Ponsford, Headteacher of Bayards Hill Primary School, on the 2006 project.

The 2011 Schools Song Project is generously funded by P F Charitable Trust, The Sandford Trust and The Doris Field Charitable Trust, and is part of the extensive 2011 Oxford Lieder Festival Education Programme.
