Robin Tritschler


Irish tenor Robin Tritschler has established a flourishing career in recital, concert and opera.
He has recently appeared in recital in Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, San Diego, Washington DC, and Hong Kong. He appears frequently at Wigmore Hall, London, where he held an Artistic Residency in 2018/19. As well as his regular collaborators Graham Johnson, Malcolm Martineau, Simon Lepper, Robin works with internationally renowned chamber musicians including Inon Barnatan, Jonathan Biss, and Ollie Mustonen.

On the opera stage, Robin’s appearances include Fidelio and Wozzeck at Royal Opera, Covent Garden; Così fan tutte, Don Giovanni, Die Entführung aus dem Serail at WNO, Die Zauberflöte in NYC. His modern opera performances include Europera by Cage at Ruhrtriennale, De Materie by Andriessen at Teatro Colon, Argentina, and the world premiere of Larcher’s Das Jagdgewehr at Bergenz Festival.

In concert, Robin has performed with Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Sir Antonio Pappano, Sir Mark Elder, Sir Charles MacKerras, Kent Nagano, Markus Stenz, Raphael Pichon, Bernard Labadie, in Het Concertgebouw, Berlin Philharmonie, Paris Philharmonie, Elbphilharmonie, Carnegie Hall, Suntory Hall, Sala São Paulo, St Petersburg Philharmonie, Inchoen Arts Centre Korea. Robin has also appeared in International Festivals such as Salzburg, Aldeburgh, and Mostly Mozart at the Lincoln Center NYC, and the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall.

Among Robin’s recordings are Johannes Passion under Herreweghe, Mendelssohn’s Lobgesang under Manze, and song discs including No Exceptions No Exemptions, Great War Songs (Signum), Song’s First Cycles (Signum), a Robert Franz Album and a Complete Brahms songs Vol 9 (Hyperion).
