Olga Jørgensen graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in London with a First Class Honours degree in July 2015 where she studied piano with Hamish Milne. She completed her Master's degree at the Norwegian Academy of Music last spring studying with Håvard Gimse and Kathryn Stott. In 2016 she was selected as one of the soloists for 'De Unges Konsert' with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra. Olga has enjoyed performing in the UK, Norway, Poland, Spain and Malta as a soloist and as a chamber musician. Her playing has brought her to halls such as the Wigmore Hall, St Martin in the Fields, St John's Smith Square, Colston Hall and the Purcell Room. As the winner of the Norwegian Music Competition for Youth five times, she has performed at distinguished venues in Norway such as Troldhaugen in Bergen, the Norwegian Opera and Ballett, and the University Aula in Oslo. Olga has been awarded several prizes in Norway such as the TICON Musikkpris, Ånun Lund Rej Minnepris, Drømmestipendet, Drammen kommunes Kulturstipend, Buskerud Fylkesstipend, Ola Rønnings Legat, Tom Wilhelmsen Legat and Klæstads Legat. In addition, her former trio, the Jørgensen Trio were CAVATINA Chamber Music Fellows at the Royal Academy of Music for 2015/16, and they were also the 2015 winners of the St Martin in the Fields Chamber Music Competition and the Malta International Music Competition.
