TROUPE produces staged performances for people of all ages that feature classical music both old and new. Re-imagining the concert as a theatrical event, the ensemble tells vivid, colourful stories full of energy, humour and emotion.

Recent shows include The Bad Mood, a playful family adventure commissioned by Spitalfields Music, A Line in the Sand which commemorated the centenary of World War One, and I Will Go On Adventuring, created for the Wilding Festival to celebrate the life and work of suffragette Emily Wilding Davison. The Empty Chair has been supported by Arts Council England, Spitalfields Music and Aldeburgh Music and tours nationwide in 2018 to Wigmore Hall, the National Centre for Early Music, Saffron Hall, Snape Maltings, The Apex and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. TROUPE are also excited to be performing The Bad Mood in Brazil this November at the Festival SESC de Música de Câmara.
