Joanna Kacperek


International concert pianist, Joanna Kacperek is highly celebrated for being a multi-faceted musician. She regularly performs and records with singers and instrumental players. As a passionate collaborative pianist she recently won the Titanic Memoriam Pianist Prize during the Lies Askonas Vocal Competition 2021, took part in Leeds Lieder Festival 2021 as one of Young Artists, and performed in the finals of Patricia Routledge National English Song Competition 2021.

Joanna Kacperek has performed in major concert halls in her native Poland and abroad (including United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Norway, Russia, the Ukraine, Canada and Japan). As a soloist, she has performed with such orchestras as the Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic in Warsaw, State Academic Symphony Orchestra in Moscow and Lviv Virtuosos Chamber Orchestra.

In July 2021 Joanna graduated from The Royal College of Music in London in the class of Norma Fisher, as the recipient of the C. Bechstein Scholarship and The Zetland Foundation Scholarship. Joanna is also a graduate from the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw (diploma with distinction) where she studied with Ewa Pobłocka.

Joanna has won international piano competitions in Szafarnia (‘F.Chopin’), Pilsen (‘B.Smetana’), Paris (‘M.Magin’); she was awarded a special prize at the International E.Grieg Piano Competition in Bergen. Together with violinist Roksana Kwaśnikowska, Joanna won The 2nd International Beethoven Chamber Music Competition.
