Jack Redman


Originally from Brighton, Jack Redman currently studies piano accompaniment at the Royal Academy of Music with Michael Dussek and James Baillieu. Jack frequently performs at the Academy, most recently for the Academy Song Circle and Transcending Borders concert series. He recently performed at the Fidelio Café with violinist Annabelle Traves, and at the semi- nals of this year’s Mozart singing competition.

For his undergraduate, Jack studied on the joint-course between the University of Manchester and the Royal Northern College of Music. In Manchester, he was a répétiteur for the University production of Ravel’s L’Enfant et Les Sortilèges and the RNCM production of Adam Gorb’s The Path to Heaven. Jack regularly involves himself with performances of new music and enjoys collaborating with composers on their works. A composer himself, Jack has had pieces performed in the Bridgewater Hall and live on BBC Radio 4.

Jack is also a keen organist, holding the Fellowship of the Royal College of Organists (FRCO) diploma. For the nal years of his undergraduate, he was Director of Music at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Manchester. As a bass singer he was a member of Genesis Sixteen, and has sung for numerous choral performances.
