Eunji Han


Versatile collaborative pianist, Eunji Han extensively performs throughout Europe, in such prominent venues as Petit Palais in Paris, Opéra de Lyon, Chapelle du Grand Hôtel-Dieu, Goethe Institut de Lyon, Prieuré de Chirens, Musée Dauphinois, Musée de la Révolution française (France), St Bride’s Church, St Andrew’s Church, Italian Cultural Institut (UK). She has been invited at the festivals such as Festival Culturel International de Musique Symphonique (Algeria), Rencontre-sur-mesure, Les Allées Chantent (France), A casa de Aldán (Spain) and Lavaux Classic Off (Switzerland). She has been official accompanist at Aigues-Vives en Musique (France) as a Young Artist Fellow, J&R International Music Academy (South Korea, France), and Concours Junior “Souffle” in La Côte Flûte Festival (Switzerland).​

Her passion also to explore contemporary music led her to found Ensemble Dimensions where she premiered young composers works such as Alex Nante’s ‘Arcanum’ for two pianos, two percussion sets and dance, Sirah Martínez Alvarez’s ‘Une espèce de bêtise m'a sauté aux yeux’ for saxophone and piano, commissioned by her Duo. The Ensemble held an educational project for children with Anahita Abbasi’s ‘Moving Surfaces III / Another birth’ for piano, tenor saxophone and percussions. She has performed also with Lemanic Modern Ensemble and Ensemble Contemporain de l’HEMU under the baton of Pierre Bleuse, which was broadcasted on Radio Télévision Suisse Espace 2. Her motivation to the orchestral piano has driven her to perform under the baton of Mikko Franck, Pierre Bleuse, Ricardo Castro and Alain Jacquon.

Eunji studied at Ewha Womans University (South Korea) receiving a Bachelor of Music in Piano with Soo-Yeon Lim and Yehrim Lee, Conservatoire de Lyon (France) for Piano and Piano Accompaniment with Hervé Billaut and Laetitia Bougnol, Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse de Lyon (France) completing the DNSPM in Piano Accompaniment and Master of Chamber Music with David Selig, Franck Krawczyk, Sergio Menozzi and Dana Ciocarlie, Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne (Switzerland) earning Master of Music in Piano Accompaniment with Marc Pantillon, Todd Camburn and Béatrice Richoz, Royal Academy of Music (United Kingdom) in Advanced Diploma in Piano Accompaniment under the guidance of James Baillieu and Malcolm Martineau. She has been generously supported by the Royal Academy of Music, Mécénat Musical Société Générale and ADAMI France.

Eunji has taken opportunities also to have masterclass with Helmut Deutsch, Jeff Cohen, Hartmut Höll, John Fiore, Billy Eidi, Anne le Bozec, Laurent Cabasso, Sontraud Speidel, Françoise Thinat and Sharon Boaz.

She has appeared at the Radio Télévision Suisse for her constant research of French women composers, Lili and Nadia Boulanger and her project led her to exhibit and give concert dedicated to Lili Boulanger, ‘Sur les pas de Lili’ at the Médiathèque Nadia Boulanger of Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse de Lyon. Eunji is former Leeds Lieder Young Artist and laureate of the Concours International de la mélodie de Gordes with soprano Yui Futaeda and Jeunes Talents in Paris with saxophonist Helena Otero Correa.
