The prize-winning Piatti Quartet, described in the Evening Standard as ‘a young ensemble at its finest’, returns to the Festival to play Schubert’s last string quartet, the expansive and profound Quartet in G D887, written in 1826.

The Piatti Quartet are one of the most distinguished quartets of their generation. They have performed in all the major venues and festivals around the country as well as concerts throughout the world, with national broadcasts on BBC Radio, ABC (Australia), RTE (Ireland) and France Musique (France).
