A magical Thought Machine lets us use our imagination to go anywhere… Dynamic singer-pianist ensemble Songspiel, together with hand shadowgrapher Drew Colby, introduce a range of weird and wistful characters from anxious Viking warriors to the superhero Hamster Man. With music by Cheryl Frances-Hoad, poetry by Kate Wakeling from her award-winning collection Moon Juice, and hand-formed shadow backdrops, this is a fun, participatory event for young people aged 6-11.

3.30-4pm

Drew Colby will give a hand shadow workshop following on from the performance which needs to be booked separately to the earlier performance.

Presented in association with Music at St Peter's Wallingford

Supported using public funding by Arts Council England
