James Gilchrist and Anna Tilbrook gave their first recital together 25 years ago, and have enjoyed a prolifically fruitful and prestigious musical partnership ever since. Their many memorable performances at the Festival across the years have made them firm friends of the Oxford Lieder audience. For this celebratory programme, they include repertoire from the earliest days of their collaboration, including Schumann’s Op.24 Liederkreis, Britten’s Winter Words.
