Programme to include Schumann's Dichterliebe

Alessandro Fisher and Ricardo Gosalbo are past winners of the Oxford Lieder Young Artist Platform and have given acclaimed performances at the Festival and beyond under this banner. With an already enviable reputation, we are delighted to welcome them back to Oxford in a programme that includes Schumann's great cycle Dichterliebe, the 'poet's love'.

Passes are available for The Spring Weekend of Song, which provides access to all events from Friday 10 April to Sunday 12 April 2015. Passses can be purchased through our box office and are priced at £55.

A member of the BBC’s New Generation Artists Scheme and an Associate Artist of Classical Opera, Alessandro Fisher won First Prize at the 2016 Kathleen Ferrier Awards. He read Modern and Medieval Languages at Cambridge, where he was a Choral Scholar at Clare College, furthering his studies at London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
