‘Songs of Mayhem and Madness’

Purcell, Mendelssohn, Schumann, Brahms, Strauss and others take a look at the world when all is not as it seems! This programme explores the highways and byways of the mind through a range of composers and poets, performed by Mary Bevan, one of Britain’s most exciting young singers.

Please join us for dinner between the Young Artists Platform Auditions and the evening concert at the Vaults and Gardens Café (6.40pm-7.40pm). A hot meal is available (£10 meat / £9 vegetarian) and can be booked at the Holywell Music Room during the day up to 4.15pm, or by email. Your dinner will be waiting for you after the Young Artist Platform adjudication and you will have plenty of time to enjoy this before returning for the 8pm concert.

Passes are available for The Spring Weekend of Song, which provides access to all events from Friday 10 April to Sunday 12 April 2015. Passses can be purchased through our box office and are priced at £55.
