Christian Gerhaher and Gerold Huber need little introduction as one of the world's leading song duos. Their concerts and recordings are universally hailed for their profound insight and thrilling musicianship and we are delighted to welcome them to Oxford forthe first time. Their programme tonight includes Schumann's Kerner Lieder, one of his most popular cycles from the 'annus mirabilis' of 1840, as well Antonín Dvořák's profond Biblical Songs.
Watch Christian Gerhaher singing Schumann with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra:
Festal supper will be available from 6:30pm every evening (except Thursday 20th). Enjoy a delicious hot main meal and side dish between the afternoon and evening recitals for just £11.
