Mendelssohn Octet: Doric String Quartet & Tagus String Quartet

The Doric String Quartet are joined by an exceptional new ensemble, the Tagus Quartet: students at the Royal Academy of Music coached by the Doric Quartet. Together they play Mendelssohn's Octet, largely written when the composer was just 16 and long considered one of the greatest chamber music works.
