The Swiss-Macedonian bass-baritone Milan Siljanov and Georgian pianist Nino Chokhonelidze were winners of the 2015 Wigmore Hall International Song Competition. Today they present the dramatic Six Monologues from Jedermann by the Swiss composer Frank Martin, alongside Ravel’s Don Quichotte à Dulcinée, and songs by Johannes Brahms.

Milan Siljanov is currently in the ensemble of the Bavarian State Opera in Munich. A Samling Artist, he studied at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (Opera Course) under the tutelage of Prof Rudolf Piernay. He is the winner of the prestigious Wigmore Hall/Kohn Foundation International Song Competition in London in 2015. Born in Tbilisi, Georgia, Nino Chokhonelidze graduated from the Tbilisi State Conservatoire and the Zurich University of the Arts with an Artist Diploma in Performance and Masters of Arts with Distinction under the tutelage of Prof Hans-Jürg Strub. Sought after as a chamber musician, song accompanist and répétiteur, Nino has given recitals in the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, France and the UK and has appeared on BBC Radio 3 and Radio Suisse Romande.
