The second winning duo of the Oxford Lieder Young Artist Platform (see also Sunday 14 October), who stood out in an exceptional field of applicants for the scheme, give their showcase recital. Their programme includes songs by Wolf and Dvořák.

Winner of 2nd prize at the Wigmore Hall/Independent Opera International Song Competition, British soprano Harriet Burns is a recent graduate of the Guildhall Opera School, graduating with a Distinction on the Artist Diploma programme under the tutelage of Yvonne Kenny in 2020. She is a Samling Artist, Oxford Lieder Young Artist, and a Britten-Pears Young Artist. Michael Pandya is a versatile young pianist specialising in song and chamber music. He has appeared in performance alongside Graham Johnson, Jonathan Lemalu, Robin Tritschler, Eamonn Dougan, and his recital schedule has taken him across the UK and into both Europe and the USA.
