Cumbrian mezzo-soprano Emma Stannard trained at the Royal Northern College of Music and on the Royal Academy Opera Course (RAO). Emma is now a student of Anthony Roden. For RAO Emma performed the roles of Ruggiero Alcina, Junon Orphée aux enfers, Hanna May Night and Poppea L’incoronazione di Poppea. Aliye Cornish


Aliye Cornish is a viola player specialising in historical performance, whose busy schedule of performing and recording takes her across the globe. She has been a member of John Eliot Gardiner’s English Baroque Soloists since 2009 and highlights include their tour and recording of Bach’s St Matthew Passion in 2016, the Monteverdi Opera Trilogy tour last year across the US and Europe, and several appearances at the BBC Proms and Buckingham Palace.
