06 April 2019, 20:00 - 21:10
Concert
This event will be broadcast from Jacqueline du Pré Music Building

Please note that Alessandro Fisher has regretfully had to withdraw from this concert. We are very grateful to Klemens Sander for stepping in at short notice.
We're delighted to be live streaming this evening's concert. If you can't be with us in person, click here to watch live!
Klemens Sander last appeared at the Festival in our 2016 Schumann Project, when he gave a stunning rendition of Schumann's Dichterliebe as part of the performance of Heinrich Heine's complete Lyrisches Intermezzo, with the actor Cornelius Obonya. Since then he has recorded Die schöne Müllerin, a recording that was nominated for an International Classical Music Award in 2017. We are delighted to welcome him back to perform Schubert’s great cycle.
After tonight’s concert, Friends of Oxford Lieder are invited to an informal reception. Please visit our Support Page or get in touch to find out more about supporting the work of Oxford Lieder.
