Tule kanssani (1912) Op. 9 no.3

Tule kanssani

Tule kanssani lehtohon kultaisaan,
tule leikkihin kukkien kanssa!
Suvituoksut tuntuvi tuulissa,
maa helkkyvi hohteissansa.
Ketoruusut kastehin kimmeltää
ja virrassa laineet laulaa,
ja lainehen rannalla lemmikit
sinisilkistä kiertää paulaa.
Kera ruusujen vaieten vietämme
unijuhlia lehvien alla,
ja unhohon jääkööt taivas ja maa
ja huolien hyinen halla!

Take my hand

Take my hand, let us walk in the golden grove
Take my hand, let us walk through the flowers!
In the wind we feel the breath of spring again
The earth bathed in gentle showers.
In the meadow roses are fresh with dew
And brooks sing the song of springtime
The rolling waves spread on the sandy shore,
Weaving blue through the foaming breakers.
Where the silently blossoming roses grow
Let us celebrate under the green leaves
And leave to forgetfulness heaven and earth,
Their trouble and chilly winter.
