A wish to love

A strange and moral void fills my soul,
Immense nostalgia, a desire to be loved,
An inexplicable melancholy invades my being
In its agony.
Air, light, everything, even life seems to flee me!
And as the hours pass, I bewail the celestial joy that I once knew
In dreams.
Divine phantom, my magic charm,
Woman or goddess floating cloud-like
Before me, deceptive vision, embrace me,
And turn my sorrow into joy!
